    Description

    The 36th Annual Hall of Fame Game was played at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, New York on August 7, 1978.  This is an original unscored 4-page scorecard/program that has been autographed by Hall of Fame legends in attendance including Cool Papa Bell (died 1991), Stanley Coveleski (died 1984), Warren Giles (died five months later in 1979), Burleigh Grimes (died 1985), George Kelly (died 1984), Freddy Lindstrom (died 1981), Warren Spahn (died 2003), Joe Sewell (died 1990), Lloyd Waner (died 1982), and half of Rube Marquard (died 1980).  Also signed by Mets pitcher Nino Espinosa (died 1987) and sportswriter Edgar Munzel (died 2002).
