The XJS was a luxury grand tourer marketed by Jaguar for over twenty years, from 1975 through 1996 in both fixed roof and convertible two-door variants. There were a total of over 115,000 units produced in that time. The die-hards break them down into three different generations even though they are all the same platform. 1975-1981, 1981-1991 and 1991-1996 when it was launched under Ford Motor Company's new ownership of Jaguar.
This particular 1989 version checks all the boxes when looking for one of these highly beautiful and complex machines. Featuring its tried and true 5.3L engine mated to a smooth-shifting automatic transmission, this vehicle gives you plenty of pep with just a step. With luxury comes features but many of the options you find on this vehicle weren't all that prevalent until more recently making this a real find for those who love their creature comforts but appreciate the classic styles of older vehicles.
