This listing is for a 1990 baseball All Star game program which has been signed by 20 former hall of famers, star players, and the commissioner of baseball.
The 1990 All Star game was played at Wrigley Field.
This program was signed in person at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Chicago during July of 1990, over a two day period prior to the game.
The Hyatt was the MLB host hotel so most of the retired players and hall of fame members attending stayed there as well as both teams.
I had this program signed thirty years ago by the following;
Eddie Matthews(d), Lou Brock, Brooks Robinson, Johnny Mize(d), Al Barlick(d), Rollie Fingers, Bob Feller(d), Fergie Jenkins, Gaylord Perry, Joe Torre, Al Oliver, Bert Campaneris, Monte Irvin(d), Joe Rudi, Bob Doerr(d), Joe Garagiola(d), and Boog Powell.
(d) denotes the players and umpire now deceased.
MLB commissioner Fay Vincent signed the inside full page letter to the fans.
A.L. President Bobby Brown, and N.L. President Bill White nicely signed the contents page which is next after the Fay Vincent letter.
Great blue sharpie marker signatures from all 20.
