This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance company for resale in the condition you see it on the pictures below. It was sold as a theft/stolen recovered vehicle. By law such vehicles are salvaged if not recovered within certain number of days (normally around 30 days). It was most likely stolen for a joy ride and later recovered after the previous owner was paid off by the insurance company. We buy directly from insurance companies no middle man involved. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars.
