ITEM: This is a 1930s vintage and original calendar pin-up print that comes from the archives of the now defunct Thomas D. Murphy Calendar Company in Red Oak, Iowa. This is a sumptuous Art Deco image that features a lithe, graceful glamour girl in a slinky yellow gown. Titled "The Golden Girl", this image is by pioneering female illustrator Irene Patten. Along with her sister Laurette, Irene Patten created numerous pin-up art for the leading American calendar companies featuring tantalizing modernist heart-breakers in a variety of risqué poses.
Print measures 10.5" x 14.25" and is in very fine condition with a faint bend in the lower left corner.
