Roger Maris Autographed Scorecard/Signed On August 15, 1984

Description

On Wednesday, August 15th, 1984, Roger Maris was the guest of honor at a Vancouver Canadians Pacific Coast League home game.  At the time, they were the triple A, major league affiliate for the Milwaukee Brewers. During the game, the original owner of this item met Roger Maris and had him sign the front of his scorecard. I guess he got thirsty as a long since dried, but still noticeable beverage stain is evident on front right. The good news is, Maris signed it on the other side! While some minor surface wear is visible underneath,
the autograph remains
vibrant and very clear!
This scorecard also shows typical creasing and was stored folded! As stated, the autograph remains very decent with strong eye appeal in person! A handwritten note from the owner on a separate piece of paper is stapled to the top right, informing other's in his household to "keep" this item. This adds "character" and hopefully provenance as well!
